Tech Mentor Program

The Tech Mentor Program is a peer to peer mentorship program where individuals with disabilities who have personal experience using AT in their own lives can help guide and support other individuals with disabilities who need Assistive Technology.

A Tech Mentor is someone who has been through the process and knows where to find funding for AT, where to go for a hands-on demonstrations of AT devices and what agencies can help.

Tech Mentors get training on Assistive Technology devices and on how to be an effective Mentor. If you would like a Tech Mentor to guide and support you through the process of selecting and obtaining the AT device and services that you need, call the CT Tech Act Project.
